The Parish of Morpeth offers you the opportunity to marry in one of our three churches in Morpeth – St Aidan’s, St James or St Mary’s.  

If you would like to discuss your wedding, please complete a Wedding Enquiry Form and a Banns Enquiry Form, both of which you can find below.  These are standard forms used across the Church of England.  Banns are public notice of your intention to marry, and are read out at public worship in the parish on three occasions prior to your wedding.  When you have completed the details on each form, please press the Submit Enquiry button at the bottom of each.  This sends the forms electronically to our Parish Office, and you will be contacted to discuss arrangements.
