Parish Giving Scheme
This is a simple and secure way for churches to receive gifts by Direct Debit, Credit and Debit Cards, Apple and Google Pay methods. It eases the administrative task for churches in managing donations, and its aim is also to empower all generations to give with confidence and to feel valued.
You are always in control of your donations, and can alter them at any time if you wish or if your circumstances change. The button below goes straight to the Morpeth Parish page for setting up a regular or one-off donation – just click on the Give Now button when you reach the page. The address is set as St Aidan as this is the location of the Parish Office. Donations are shared across all three churches depending on need.
If you would prefer to complete a paper form please contact our Parish Giving Administrator via the Parish Office, or if you would like to make arrangements by phone, you can call 0333 002 1271. You will need the Parish Giving Scheme number for Morpeth Parish, which is 250625232.
Donations by card
You can use the electronic card machines at each of our churches to make a one-off donations, perhaps in appreciation of a particular event or special occasion.
Scanning a QR code in church
You can find cards in church that have a QR code – use your mobile phone or tablet to scan one of these to donate directly to the Parish.
Donations by cash or cheque
There are envelopes in church for this purpose, so that you can donate whenever you want and in privacy. Please seal your donation into an envelope and place it in the basket near the entrance to church, or hand it to a church official such as a a member of the clergy or a church warden. If you are a tax payer and would like us to recover tax on your donation, please complete the details on the envelope.
